After years of working out of an unfinished basement – Ironbird Studios is finishing the space to create a purpose-built recording and production environment.  After a whole winter of work, the studio build out is near completion.  The rooms were framed using double wall construction – and they are all acoustically separated.   After a successful building inspection, we are finishing up the insulation – and the sheetrock is the next phase.  We will be laying 2 layers of 5/8″ sheetrock, with a layer of Green Glue sound dampening compound in between the layers.
